We are going to discover the south of Armenia with its whole beauty, magnificent Tatev Monastery, beautiful Vorotan cave, the desert of Tatev and the beauty of magical Shaki Waterfall.

Tour Program:

Day1

South of Armenia. Treasures of Syunik-Zangezur

  • Tatev Monastery, Vorotan Gorge
  • Khndzoresk Village and Hanging Bridge
  • Shaki Waterfall (or Strong Stones)
  • Khor Virap (or Noravank)
At 7 am we will start our journey from Yerevan. The road will bring us to Syunik Region with the beautiful view of Ararat valley and Mount Ararat, where we will start our trip full of discoveries. In one day we will manage to see . Khor Virap Monastery (or Noravank Monastery) . Tatev Monastery . The tomb of Gr. Tatevaci . Vorotan gorge . The watchtower of Harsnadzor . The abandoned cave-village of Khndzoresk . The abandoned villages of Khndzoresk . The Devil’s Bridge . The Waterfall of Shaki (or the Observatory of Karahunj)
On the way back there will be a possibility to enjoy the well-known wines of Areni. We will return to Yerevan having had an interesting journey full of discoveries.
